Headaches
Tension and cervicogenic headaches, and some migraines — care that targets the neck, nerves and movement patterns behind the pain.

How chiropractic helps headache patterns
Restrictions in the upper neck joints and irritated cervical nerves can refer pain to the head and face. Gentle, precise adjustments plus targeted muscle work reduce the mechanical stress that drives many tension and cervicogenic headaches. We add simple at-home drills so results last.
- Focus on C0–C3 mechanics and related muscle trigger points
- Posture and workstation coaching to cut daily strain
- Breathing and mobility drills to calm neck tension
Focused exam, clear plan
- Listen & test. History, triggers, neck motion, nerve signs; imaging only if it will change care.
- Adjust & retrain. Gentle corrections plus short drills to reinforce easier motion.
- Measure & refine. We track frequency and intensity, not just “today’s pain.”
Digital X-rays are available on-site when clinically appropriate.
Simple habits that help
- Short movement breaks every 30–45 minutes at screens
- Neck mobility and breathing drills you can do anywhere
- Hydration, regular meals and consistent sleep
- Ergonomic tweaks: screen height, chair support, lighting
Red flags we don’t ignore
Sudden, severe “worst headache,” new neurologic deficits, fever or infection, head trauma, or new-onset headaches in certain medical contexts deserve immediate medical evaluation. We coordinate quickly when any of these appear.

Is this right for my headaches?
Many tension and cervicogenic headaches respond well. Some migraine patterns also improve when neck drivers are addressed. If your case is better suited to another specialist, we’ll tell you quickly and help you get there.

Notes & safety
Chiropractic care is not for every headache type. We screen for patterns that need medical co-management or urgent care. Results vary; this page is educational, not medical advice.
